I need total replacement of ac and heating units.

James B

We purchased our home in Bedford in September. It was built in 1974 and the American Standard boiler is original to the house and needs to be replaced. We are having issues with the household hot water (provided by the boiler) and the service tech who did the annual service was unable to sort it out. I would like to schedule a time to have someone come out and give me an estimate of what it would cost to replace the heating system. Thank you,

Johann W

Residential Heating Services

Heating - Residential Heating Services Residential HVAC systems are of many types. Furnaces have been popular with generations of American home owners. Condensing furnaces are highly regarded for their energy efficiency. Furnaces can be powered by gas, propane or electricity. Make sure that your furnaces are serviced regularly to ensure safety and efficiency. Filter must be cleaned at least every few months, and the blower must be kept clean. Oil furnaces must be serviced at least annually, while gas furnaces can be serviced every once in 5 years. Boilers can be powered either by gas or propane, and work by heating water which is circulated through convectors or radiators throughout the home. Modern boilers cut down on the number of toxic emissions released into the environment.

HVAC contractor in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania There are several kinds of residential HVAC systems that you can install depending on your heating needs. Furnaces powered by gas, electricity or propane continue to be one of the most popular heating systems in American homes. New generation boilers are not only more energy efficient than older models, but also reduce the number of toxic emissions. Make sure you find a boiler that comes with an Energy Star label. Residential heat pump systems are located outside the home, and work by sucking out warm air when the weather is warm, and blowing in warm air when the weather becomes cold. Radiant heaters are newer technologies that work to heat the objects and surfaces in a cold environment.

Radiant floor heating systems make use of pipes under the floor to deliver heat. This heat then radiates throughout the home. This is a more expensive technology, and requires careful installation. However, they offer a comfortable and well heated environment that is unmatched by other systems. We can connect you with reputed licensed heating repair contractors in Philadelphia.
